Review
Today, The Grand Theft Auto franchise is one of the most successful and most sought-after gaming franchises in the world. With four editions of the series now it is strange to find someone that has not heard of it before. However few people know that the GTA franchise started as a 2D, top down game.
Rockstar Games (formerly DMA Design Ltd) has given all GTA fans a treat and it placed GTA Volume 1 as a free download on their website. The game may be nearly 12 years old now, but it has lost none of its charm. You will be having fun in 3 large cities available in the game, causing havoc and being a threat to the general public. The basics of any GTA game is there, you are a criminal looking for jobs and respect, you can steal any car, bike, bus, train you want. You can shoot, hit or blow up anything or anyone you want. The graphics of the game are obviously outdated, and it may take a bit of time to be the ultra skilled getaway driver you might want to be, but the simple basic fun is there. You can roam around the cities and you will definitely find hidden surprises and challenges to keep you entertained.
GTA may now be an ultra advanced 3D game with amazing graphics, but if you want to go to the roots, grab this game and you will have fun and a few laughs, thats what gaming is all about. |
- Its funny, its entertaining and it will keep you playing for a while.
|
